Statement from Rick Scott, chairman of Conservatives for Patients' Rights:
"The overwhelming message from Bay Staters - traditionally one of the most liberal states in the union - is that government-run health care is on the wrong track. That message comes straight from the voters of a state that has already experienced the long waits and higher costs associated with failed systems in Canada and the UK. Tonight the people of Massachusetts fired a message across the bow of big-government advocates that it's time to start over on health care reform and focus on what matters most - lowering costs and giving greater power to patients, not government bureaucrats."
